Becky’s fascinator making hen party in the Scottish Borders
Gorgeous countryside venue, sunshine, good food, plenty of bubbles, great company…and a fascinator making workshop. What more could a girl want??? That is just what the lovely Becky recently experienced for her fabulous hen party in the Scottish Borders. We never expected to have an outdoors class but whadya know – we were lucky enough to have glorious weather so we could hold the fascinator making class in teh lovely garden. It was the first time we’ve run one outdoors and it was brilliant!! The rain kindly held off until about 20 minutes from the end of the class so we all grabbed thw materials and made a dash into the house! The girls were all incredibly creative and made some fantastic designs. Here are a few pics from the day – we can’t wait for the next outdoor workshop so if you fancy it – just get in touch! Hen party fascinator making classes can be held in one of our Edinburgh venues including Hotel du Vin, the Bonham Hotel, the Howard Hotel, Hemma, Urban Angel or Norton House Hotel or at your own venue – whichever suits you best. As long as there’s enough table space that’s all we need really! All of our venues offer afternoon tea which can also be served with bubbles (which we find often helps with people’s creativity!!!) or various other drinks and snacks. We can also travel to other venues within Edinburgh or outside of Edinburgh. We also have four fabulous venues that we use for our hen party craft and fascinator making workshops in Glasgow – the Corinthian Club, Blythswood Square, Hummingbird and the Butterfly and Pig Tearooms and are happy to travel to self catering venues in other Scottish destinations. Packages can be tailor-made to make the class as simple or as extravagant as you like. The class can be themed to suit the hen party, we can adapt the class to make brooches or other accessories – it is really up to you! So – we finally got our blog up and running on our lovely fascinator making class website so we can start telling you all about some of the lovely classes and workshops we have run for crafty hen parties so far! Several months ago we ran a lovely little fascinator making class for Karen’s hen party in Hotel du Vin in Edinburgh. The girls all got their creative caps on as we taught them the basics of how to make some lovely fascinators which they then proceeded to make whilst munching away on some delicious afternoon tea, sandwiches and cakes.
